PENINGKATAN KOMPETENSI BACAAN AL QUR’AN MELALUI PELATIHAN TAHSIN BAGI PENDIDIK DAN TENAGA KEPENDIDIKAN SMP MUHAMMADIYAH 10 YOGYAKARTA

Abstract


The competence of reading the Qur'an educators and education staff in schools, especially schools under the Persyarikatan Muhammadiyah, is something that must be done. Competence is closely related to culture, both at school and in the family. So it is mandatory to increase the reading of the Qur'an for educators. This article explains the results and potential of efforts to improve the competence of educators and education personnel in reading the Qur’an through Tahsin training. That method is a qualitative method. Collecting data by means of observation and interviews, coupled with structured interviews in the form of a questionnaire. The results of the study found two important things; training from training and potential after training. The implication of Tahsin training is to be more aware of always learning, related to Tahsin-related understanding, and skills in reading the Qur'an. The potentials that emerge after the training are; educators and education staff are better prepared to always improve competence and better ready to prepare tadarus both at school and at home.
