PENDAMPINGAN PENYUSUNAN PENULISAN JURNAL ILMIAH PENDIDIKAN BERBASIS REFERENCE MANAGER DALAM MENINGKATKAN KOMPETENSI GURU SEKOLAH DASAR DI SD MUHAMMADIYAH WORAWARI

Abstract

The partner in this Community Service Program (PPM) activity is SD Muhammadiyah. the problems faced by partners include several things. First, the lack of teacher knowledge in preparing scientific papers and publishing them in scientific journals is an obstacle for teachers to carry out research. Second, teachers are also not very motivated to compile scientific papers because they do not affect the teacher's career path. To overcome these problems, appropriate solutions and approaches are needed so that the problems faced can be immediately resolved, among others through the following ways: First, socialization and FGDs are related to efforts to increase teacher competence in writing scientific papers. Second, providing insight and knowledge in understanding scientific work. Third, training on optimization of the use of the reference manager application to facilitate the preparation. Fourth, the practice of using the application, adjusting the template and submitting the journal. This activity will be held for 4 days on 17 and 18 July 2022 and 18 and 19 September 2022. The methods used to achieve the objectives of the PPM program are divided into 4 stages, namely; 1) Preparation stage related to needs in the implementation of assessment and FGD activities 2) Training stage for writing scientific papers, 3) Assistance or coaching for publishing scientific journals 4) Evaluation to measure the success of the activities that have been carried out, including process evaluation, final, and evaluation follow-up. The service activities include assistance related to the writing of scientific papers, assistance in submitting in scientific journals using a reference manager.
