Abstract

Technological advances have a major impact on various aspects of human life. One of them is the activity of sharing information about yourself on social media. This activity is suspected to have no age limit, including teachers in between teaching and learning activities. Often they share information on activities that are being carried out with students in the form of photos or videos. In general, students will not refuse when the teacher records or shoots their photos in between school activities. However, information sharing activities on social media should be carried out with the permission of students. The practice of sharing children's information carried out by teachers on their social media can invite irresponsible individuals to do unwanted things. Thus, socialization of this phenomenon is organized to kindergarten teachers, especially so that information sharing activities about children on social media and are suppressed and even reduced by selective efforts.

The socialization given to teachers is about the challenges that must be known when surfing social media. The main material presented to teachers is about sharenting and digital literacy. The socialization will be held on October 13, 2022.

The result and impact of the implementation of this socialization activity is the reflective actions felt by teachers related to the activity of sharing information on their students' activities on social media. Teachers realize their mistakes and take preventive measures by selecting content that should be shared on social media.
