Abstract

Lack of knowledge about complementary feeding according to World Health Organization standards is one of the risk factors for the occurrence of under five nutrition problems in Dusun Gumulan. Therefore, one of the solutions offered is to initiate the creation of Community Reading Center (TBM) to realize the community likes to learn through reading culture. By reading, hopefully your knowledge and awareness of food and nutrition, food management skills and consumption of balanced nutrition will increase. Empowerment activities used the TBM management training and assistance method with the Karangataruna Youth target group in Dusun Gumulan. The TBM initiation in Dusun Gumulan was started by forming a management organizational structure, procurement of facilities and infrastructure, TBM management training followed by mentoring. There needs to be a lot of support from various parties in the sustainability of TBM development in Dusun Gumulan
