Pelatihan pengelolaan laboratorium fisika bagi guru MGMP Fisika Kabupaten Serang

Abstract


The laboratory is one of the supporting facilities that is very important in the success of learning physics. Practicum in physics laboratory can attract students to understand and improve the science process. One of the difficulties faced by teachers to do practical work is the lack of time, lack of tools and materials, limited space, and the absence of laboratory assistants. This community service program is conducted to improve the ability of physics teachers to manage physics laboratories so that laboratories can function optimally. The program is carried out based on the needs analysis required by the Serang Regency MGMP Physics teacher using training and coaching methods. This activity received a positive response based on knowledge needs regarding laboratory management, material relevance, and the benefits of training. This activity has been able to provide an understanding of the importance of the function and role of laboratories in the teaching and learning process of physics. The results achieved from this program are the increased ability of the physics teacher MGMP Physics in Serang Regency to manage the physics laboratory.
