Abstract

At present, science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) are very popular sciences. Globalication planning is one of the triggers to require capable human resources in the STEM field. STEM is very related to science, so it is necessary to design a STEM-based science learning in schools. However, science teachers in several Muhammadiyah Middle Schools have not implemented STEM-based learning. Therefore it is necessary to do a STEM-based science learning training for science teachers of Muhammadiyah Middle School. The method used in this community service is training for 3 days, teaching practices in schools, and evaluation. The training was successfully carried out well in the Science Learning Technology Laboratory of Campus 4 Ahmad Dahlan University, with 11 natural science teachers. The impact of the implementation of this training is that Muhammadiyah Middle School science teachers are able to develop STEM-based science learning tools and are able to practice it in class.
