Pelatihan pembuatan soal olimpiade matematika bagi guru sekolah dasar Muhammadiyah se-Kota Yogyakarta

Abstract


The activity of this community service is giving training and accompaniment in making mathematics Olympiad problems for elementary school teachers. There are 41 Muhammadiyah elementary school teachers whom join in this training. This activity is a follow-up activity which initiate in 2018 by Mathematics Education Department of Universitas Ahmad Dahlan. The participants are asked to fill a questionnaire related to the material and the general conclusion of all activities given by the facilitators. For indicators of clarity and convenience of the material, the participants gave 79% as good clarity and the convenience of the material. It means that the material was easy to follow. They think that this material is needed as a Mathematics Olympiad trainer for their students. As result, 62% score is given for the relevant indicators of this training. For general conclusion, the participants gave 85% good score for the training of mathematics Olympiad problem posing. It means that the Muhammadiyah Elementary Teachers feel the benefits by participating this training. In conclusion (1) the community service activity is held without any big obstacle and well organized, (2) the assessment of the material and the general conclusion of this activity is good categorized and the participant suggest that this activity is sustainable for the next every year.
