Penyusunan sistem imbalan di BMT UMY: Job grade sebagai dasar struktur gaji

Abstract


BMT UMY as one of the Muhammadiyah’s business has been operated for seven years and experiencing rapid development. Efforts to streghten the organisational basic system and HR management is needed in the development of BMT UMY including reward system. Reward system may attract and  maintain the best employee and also motivating them. Reward system may also increase productivity and also the welfare of employees. The organisatuon’s conditions and capability need to be considered in developing reward system. An intense communication is needed in developing reward system – in this case is salary - to adjust the organisation’s capability and the expectation of employees. Salary structure developed based on job grade has been applied and get no negative response from employee. In the long run, the salaray structure developed may incrasre employees’ motivatio  and productivity.
