Program “Student Friendly”: pojok pelayanan remaja sehat di SMA Negeri 1 Banguntapan Bantul Yogyakarta

Abstract


The results of monitoring nutritional status in 2017 by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, the percentage of young women aged 12-18 years at risk of Chronic Energy Deficiency based on Upper Arm Circumference  in Indonesia by 32% and the Province of DIY by 34.4%. In addition there are still more than half of school students who do not understand health and nutrition knowledge, especially anemia. This program aims to increase knowledge that will have an impact on healthy attitudes and behavior and can overcome health problems with peer education techniques. The implementation method of this program is FGD, then education and alternative problem solving with interactive lecture methods with nutritionists. Assistance to form a "student friendly" to make work plans for adolescent health and nutrition promotion. Monitoring and evaluation activities to assess the success of the program are carried out with the One Group Pre Test-Post Test Design approach. The results of activities that have been carried out in this community service are "student friendly" group education training and alternative problem solving with interactive lecture methods both by nutrition and nursing experts, as well as direct practice of using simple medical devices (tensimeters, Hb measuring devices, stepping scales and microtoice ). The average pretest knowledge knowledge about anemia is 22.64 while the post-test results are 24.46. The ‘student friendly group and a healthy youth service corner were formed at SMA 1 Banguntapan.
