Inisiasi PIK R di Desa Argorejo, Kecamatan Sedayu, Kabupaten Bantul, Yogyakarta

Abstract

One of the issues that must be considered in adolescent development is its reproductive health which includes the reproductive system, function, and process so that it is always healthy. Healthy notions here are not simply disease free or free from disability but mentally, socially and culturally healthy. PIK-KRR is a reproductive health counseling forum (KRR) for adolescents, whose job is to provide information related to adolescent reproductive health. The method used in this program is community empowerment whit advocation and training activity, this training is held for 2 days with the aim of increasing adolescent knowledge about adolescent reproductive health in realizing Generation Planning (GenRe). Results obtained were the training activities going well and the participants actively participating in the training activities to completion. The training was conducted interactively between the speakers and the participants present. At the end of the training session, with encouragement from stakeholders and youth leaders, youth made a commitment to follow up on the formation of the PIK R in Argorejo Village. This commitment was demonstrated by the signing of the commitment sheet and the election of the core management of the PIK R Argorejo Village with material on smoking behavior and control methods using lecture, discussion, question and answer methods.
