Abstract

It is important to collect data on the blood type of the residents as a first step in the preparation of the formation of a blood donor alert village. This service activity aims to Register the blood type of Jambu Hamlet as a preparatory stage to form the Blood Donation Alert Village. The method used was a Citizen data survey, examine of ABO and Rhesus blood grouping using the slide method, participants were selected with saturated sampling techniques, and data analysis using data descriptive. The students were involved in community service is 18 people. Partners in community service are Cangkringan Health Center and Kepuharjo Village. Blood Type O was 42%, B was 26%, A was 21%, AB was 11%, and 100% of the residents were rhesus positive blood type.The impact of community service is that through this community service program, residents of Jambu Hamlet who previously did not know their blood type became aware of their blood type. Residents have knowledge about the importance of knowing blood types and the benefits of blood donations so that they can increase the motivation of residents to donate blood whenever needed. The blood type data obtained is then stored and submitted to the Cangkringan Health Center and Kepuharjo Village as a Database and can be used as a reference if needed.
