Abstract

One of the pedagogical competencies that must be mastered by SMP/MTs teachers is being able to utilize technology for learning. SMP Muhammadiyah Al-Manar is one of the Muhammadiyah schools that has a boarding school system. This school stands together with MBS Prambanan, but the progress of this school is not as fast as MBS Prambanan. In this school, there is a computer laboratory but mathematics teachers have not utilized it to develop technology-based learning media, so for mathematics subjects have not been found learning media based on geogebra software. The purpose of this training is the use of technology in the field of mathematics learning, that is training on media development using Geogebra. The impact of this geogebra training is to improve the quality of teacher competencies in the field of technology, improve the quality of learning, and dismiss students' assumptions that mathematics is not merely about formulas and calculations, but has an aesthetic element.
