TOT work readiness skill bagi guru Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK)

Abstract


Vocational High School Problems (Vocational High Schools) are very complex, one of the serious problems now is the work readiness of vocational students. Data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) shows that the highest acquisition last year was still approved by SMK graduates. SMK graduates who are unable to work due to being unable to compete and get a job. The teachers still increase the difficulty in increasing the work readiness of the teachers and also do not have good job readiness skills so that they cannot help their students. TOT work readiness skills are carried out with the aim to provide knowledge and skills to teachers in order to become trainers on job readiness skills for students. Method of Implementation TOT of work readiness using lecture, play, role play (practice) and discussion methods. Participants in the TOT on work readiness were 15 Muhammadiyah 1 SMK Moyudan teachers. The result of this program is that teachers gain knowledge and skills for work readiness. The training provided consisted of material work readiness, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), motivational training, approved training, interpersonal communication training, managerial training, coordination training, independence training, disciplinary training, tangible entrepreneur training, and responsible training. Work readiness of teachers who have the abilities that are expected to transfer knowledge and work skills to readiness for their students with ongoing support.
