Pelatihan Pengembangan Soal Matematika Bertipe HOTS

Abstract


The aim of the training is to provide competence to mathematics teachers of Muhammadiyah Middle School in Yogyakarta City in developing math problems oriented to Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). The training participants consisted of 23 junior high school mathematics teachers from Muhammadiyah schools located throughout the City of Yogyakarta. The training method used is through lectures, discussions and projects. In the lecture activities the lecturer delivered material about what was HOTS, the importance of HOTS, and the types of mathematical problems of type HOTS. After getting material about HOTS, participants held a workshop to develop HOTS-oriented junior high school mathematics questions based on basic competencies taught in school. After the questions are arranged, then analyzed. The impact of this training is that participants are able to develop mathematical problems of type HOTS.
