Pelatihan life skill education kesehatan reproduksi remaja di Desa Potorono Kabupaten Bantul

Abstract

The Special region of Yogyakarta health office noted that there were 1,078 junior and senior high school students performing adolescence deliveries and unwanted pregnancy. The most cases occurred in Bantul Regency, namely 276 cases. In 2016, Banguntapan District was ranked first in the case of adolescents giving birth at the age of 10-18 years. The main factor related to the high rate of student pregnancy in Banguntapan District is influenced by the lack of knowledge and information about reproductive health for adolescents, another factor is the lack of parental initiative to educate children about reproductive health on the grounds it is still considered taboo. The purpose of this activity was to improve adolescent understanding related to reproductive health through life skills education training on reproductive health. The training method conducted by delivered adolescent reproductive health education material, case studies, and role play. The activity was conducted on 12 and 19 May 2019 by conducting several programs including: (1). Internet for adolescents; (2). Education of sexual crimes on social media and the impact; (3). Education of STIs, HIV & AIDS; (4) Case studies and role plays on adolescent reproductive health issues; and (5) Activity Evaluation
