Pelatihan pengolahan sampah anorganik pada kader jumantik di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Gamping 1 Sleman Yogyakarta

Abstract


Jumantik is community participation in DHF prevention. The important role of jumantik must be supported and accompanied so that the consistency of jumantik's performance is maintained. DHF is an environmental-based disease related to waste management, especially inorganic waste. Inorganic waste that is not managed properly can be a breeding place for Aedes aegypti. Based on this, jumantik cadres must be equipped with the ability to manage inorganic waste. This PPM aims to improve the skills of jumantik cadres to manage inorganic waste. The method used is offline training and online monitoring evaluation. The training carried out is making ovitrap, hydroponics and making handicrafts from inorganic waste. The training was held on October 1, 2020 in the hall of the Gamping Health Center 1. Monitoring and evaluation was carried out through the Whatsapp group for one week from 2 to 8 October 2020. The training activities were running successfully and the participants were  enthusiastic. The target obtained is that jumantik cadres have skills in managing inorganic waste that can be applied. The outputs obtained are the publication of seminar proceedings, newspapers and videos uploaded on YouTube.
