Abstract

In early 2020, the National Accreditation Board for Madrasah Schools (BAN SM) has issued a new policy regarding the issuance of the 2020 Education Unit Accreditation Instrument (IASP 2020), which will be piloted in 2020 for schools whose accreditation period expires in 2020. SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Bantul, is one of the schools in Yogyakarta whose accreditation period ends in 2020. This raises its own problems because IASP is completely new to partners so that partners' understanding of the 2020 IASP paradigm is still very low. Therefore, the PPM team decided to implement a community service program at the school as an effort to improve the school's ability to carry out accreditation-based school quality assurance. Training on the implementation of accreditation-based school quality assurance in the context of implementing the independent learning policy is one of the solutions we offer to overcome some of the problems currently being faced by SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Bantul. In this training activity, partners get an understanding of the 2020 IASP paradigm and how a quality school is actually described in the context of the 2020 IASP. Partners are also equipped with skills to carry out Accreditation-based school quality assurance using IASP 2020. The results of the activity show an increase in partners' understanding and skills regarding the guarantee process. external quality in accordance with the paradigm and basic concepts of the 2020 IASP.
