Pelaksanaan kegiatan penguatan kelas bahasa di SMP Muhammadiyah I Yogyakarta

Abstract


English is an international language which is widely used by people in this globalization era. SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Yogyakarta answers the challenge by preparing the Language Classes each year. However, the program faces various problems in the implementation. Strengthening the language Classes is a concrete solution for the problems. It involves the motivation class, native speaker session, and conversation class. In the program, the board starts the program by making the planning team and preparing all stuffs to use in the program. Then, the board also conducts and controls the program. In the end of the program, the board in collaboration with the headmaster, teachers and mentors evaluate the result of the program implementation. Based on the evaluation, the students’ interest to learn language increases significantly.
