Pelatihan Tari dan Rias Panggung di Sanggar Tari Langen Budoyo Desa Jatimulyo Dlingo Bantul Yogyakarta

Abstract


This service aims to provide training related to dance and make-up at the “Langen Budoyo” dance studio, Jatimulyo village. For the last 5 years, this studio has been in great demand by the community, but the only resources for the trainers are YouTube. The implementation methods used are lectures, demonstrations, and performance. The equipment used is a sound system and sampur for dance training, as well as tools for make-up training. The activity was held 8 times from February to September 2020. Participants involved were 20-50 people in each session. There were 4 students involved who acted as administrative officers and assisted in filling out the material. The result obtained is an increase in dance references that can be developed in the studio. The dancing skills of the members are improved with the basic dance techniques being taught. Make-up training opens opportunities to develop yourself as a beauty blogger or open a make-up service. The impact felt was that the studio was now able to express creativity in the works, one of which was displayed in memory of the puppeteer Ki Seno. The materials make-up that has been obtained is also applied in the event so that it does not require services outside the members. The dance that has been taught will be developed and displayed in the opening of one of the new natural tourist attractions in the village of Jatimulyo.
