Peningkatan pendayagunaan teknologi di PCA Banguntapan Utara pada masa pandemi COVID-19

Abstract


Abstract. During pandemic Covid-19, the use of technology becomes very important to support the success of online/distance learning and remote working (work from home). However, according to the conditions encountered in partner environment, most teachers experience difficulties in utilizing technology. This condition became the background for the implementation of a series of community service activities with the theme of training for office applications in Power Point, Google Drive and Google Calendar. Through Training and Assistance activities by lecturers from Informatics Engineering, Universitas Ahmad Dahlan provided training to Aisyiyah members in Northern Banguntapan district, especially for Kindergarten/Early Childhood Teachers on how to make interactive instructional media, organizing files, also how to collaborate and manage work schedules such as meetings, seminars, dissemination and teaching schedules.

From the training provided, the participants have succeeded in processing various distribution of teaching media files using office applications via computers and checking them on smart phones. Through the provision of training modules, material presentation and intensive question and answer sessions during independent training through mobilizing the work of the entire PPM team, participants can demonstrate the skills to use the three applications above. More than 90% of participants felt the benefit of increasing knowledge in using office applications. This training is also broadcast live via the Youtube video channel so that participants can continue learning more easily after the event ends. During the evaluation process, 97% of participants succeeded in displaying the expected output from the training and expressed their willingness to participate again in the next activity.
