Abstract

Kamulyan is one of the many Waste Bank located in RW 20 - 22 Brontokusuman, Mergangsan Sub-District of Yogyakarta. The majority of Kamulyan Waste Bank members are households who have the potential to develop, especially in the processing of waste both organic and non-organic. Mitra's problem is the lack of public knowledge on organic waste processing and the lack of land to grow crops. Mentoring to partners needs to be done in order to know about waste processing and utilize it into a more useful product. Starting from household organic waste is a good first step to get Brontokusuman into Kampung Sayur. This is in line with the Village program so that every citizen can try to green from their own home. Community Service
Program at Kamulyan Waste Bank is carried out through various activities such as counseling and practice of domestic organic waste processing, counseling and domestic non-organic waste processing practices, as well as mentoring its utilization to become capital in realizing Kampung Sayur. The result of this activity is organic fertilizer from processed household waste in biopori canisters that can be used as vegetable fertilizer, utilization of junk goods into potted
media of greenery and vegetables also improving the skills to innovate in realizing Kampung Sayur without great cost. The benefits felt by citizens are many, among others reduce organic and non-organic waste piles, increase the productivity of housewives with more beneficial activities, also improving the family economy in various businesses in this waste processed field.
