Abstract

Industrial Revolution 4.0 is a big change in industrial processes where Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data technology will be applied / have a role in industrial processes. According to the P21 (Partnership for 21st Century Education) network in order to welcome changes in the 21st century in general and the Industrial Revolution 4.0 in particular, it requires several attitudes and skills, namely Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaboration and Creativity (4C). Those skillsets are coupled with an ability in the era of information technology, namely Computational Thinking. Muhammadiyah schools, especially high school level, must prepare their students to welcome the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. Therefore, this activity aims to introduce Computational Thinking to Muhammadiyah high school schools. The solutions that will be offered in order to improve understanding of Computational Thinking are 1) Computational Thinking Training for Muhammadiyah high school teachers and students in Yogyakarta City, 2) Creating a Computational Thinking module which will be reference for SMA Muhammadiyah teachers / students in Yogyakarta City, 3) Assistance of Muhammadiyah Senior High School students in Yogyakarta City to take part in the Bebras Challenge Competition 2020. Based on evaluation conducted by the team, the training participants received additional insights about Industrial Revolution 4.0, Big Data, and Computational Thinking. Teachers and students of SMA / SMK Muhammadiyah in Yogyakarta City understand the material about Computational Thinking.
