Program peningkatan kemandirian warga Singkar 1 Wareng Gunungkidul berbasis sistem pengairan terpadu

Abstract


Singkar 1 is a mountainous area that often deficiency of clean water and there is no technology in efficient and integrated irrigation empowerment. During the dry season the local society have to buy water from the Pengelola Air Minum Desa (PAMDES) for their daily needs and other such as watering plants. Geographical’s condition that depend on seasons become an obstacle in the availability of irrigation facilities, however, Singkar 1 Wareng has potential to be developed in the future, such as large areas and several abandoned wells for plant cultivation. The integrated irrigation system works by draining water from well using a solar cell-based DC water pump to irrigate land that has not been used optimally. This system is able to increase the independence in cultivating plants because the local society can use water without having to buy from PAMDES.
