Abstract

Group services provide time efficiency for counseling teachers and improve counselee social skills. However, many counseling teachers have difficulty implementing group guidance and group counseling services. The aim of this program is to help teachers organize group counseling and group counseling services effectively. The program is implemented with e-training and assistance in organizing group guidance and group counseling at schools. E-training consists of practical steps in building a group, starting from the forming group, beginning stage, transition stage, working stage, and termination stage. In addition, the e-training materials also emphasize the basic counseling communication skills needed to facilitate groups. After the e-training was completed, assistance was carried out with the WhatsApp group media. The results of the e-training and mentoring program have an output target, namely an increase in the competence of counseling teachers in providing group guidance and group counseling services so that students can achieve more optimal development.
