Abstract


Expanding opportunities to attract attentions and increase buying interests in consumers, especially to be sold again, requires maximum and precise efforts and is carried out at the right momentum. This program aims to stimulate the spirit of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME/UMKM) to improve the promotion skills of youth work in Yogyakarta by opening outlet booths for 100 UMKM players 100% Jogja Banget. The operational mode is for three months, January to March 2018, in the form of making outlet booths displaying the work of young UMKM actors located at the center of Yogyakarta, Alun-Alun Utara Keranton Yogyakarta, which is popular among consumers, tourists and business people. In addition, there were also activities carried out for visitors in the form of demonstrations and practices. The activities indlude practicing batik skills, drawing traditional patterns, designing clothes, making dolls, processing ingredients for fried culinary, baking various types of cakes, and other interesting activities. The results of the visitors' work are free to take home for souvenirs or for food tasting. This community service activity is carried out in partnership with the Yogyakarta Business Consultation Clinic (KKB) which received grant assistance from the Deputy for Harmonization and Partnership of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia, through the Award Development and Promotion program. Implemented effectively for 3 months, attended by 100 (one hundred) UMKM players and supported by the Yogyakarta City Regional National Craft Council (Dekranasda), it is hoped that the work products of the young UMKM actors can achieve the spirit of youth independence. This activity is one of the community empowerment strategies in order to develop entrepreneurial motivations, increase product marketing, practice product display, exercise entrepreneurial cooperation and maintain the sustainability of business ventures in a sustainable manner.
