Dinamika sumber daya coping pengguna narkoba dalam proses rehabilitasi

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dinamika sumber daya coping penyalahgunan narkotika pada individu yang sedang menjalani proses rehabilitasi dan hasil rehabilitasi terhadap coping. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah empat orang warga binaan yang sedang menjalani hukuman sekaligus menjalani program rehabilitasi narkotika di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Narkotika Yogyakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa konflik keluarga dan pengalaman traumatis membuat individu tumbuh tanpa perhatian dan kasih sayang. Penelantaran dan pengabaian turut mempengaruhi perkembangan psikologis individu. Responden tumbuh tanpa attachment dan role model memadai yang mempengaruhi perilaku dan kemampuan mengorganisasikan sumberdaya ketika berhadapan dengan ancaman. Kemampuan individu menghadapi situasi di Lapas didorong oleh tersedianya dukungan sosial, belief dan confidence control individu. Responden berusaha beradaptasi dengan situasi dengan melakukan berbagai pendekatan yang menurutnya paling sesuai. Responden melakukan pendekatan coping seperti escape avoidance, positive reappraisal, distancing, ruminative dan acceptance. Namun pendekatan coping tersebut tidak didukung oleh planful coping dan readiness to change individu. Proses rehabilitasi juga memberikan output bagi tumbuhnya self-awareness terhadap pengalaman negatif.
