Edukasi dan simulasi tanggap darurat kebakaran dan gempa bumi di Unit Donor Darah PMI Kota Yogyakarta

Abstract


Community service was carried out at the PMI Yogyakarta City Blood Donor Unit, attended by 46 employees of the Yogyakarta City PMI Blood Donor Unit in February 2024. The topic of service was prioritized on education and emergency response simulations for natural disasters, especially fires and earthquakes. Education regarding fire and earthquake disaster preparedness was carried out before the simulation activity. The results of this education and discussion can increase knowledge and equalize perceptions regarding disasters before carrying out simulation activities. In this simulation, service participants participated enthusiastically and followed safety instructions in the event of a fire or earthquake. Based on the simulation carried out, all participants understood and practiced safety instructions in the event of a fire and earthquake disaster. The impact of simulation can minimize the possibility of casualties and make the situation more controllable.
