Abstract

This community service activity was motivated by indications of symptoms of psychological disorders in teachers during the covid-19 pandemic. A preliminary study involving 68 respondents revealed a need for training to improve skills in online learning and how to care for psychological well-being. The purpose of this service focuses on two things, namely: (1) improving teacher skills in managing online learning; and (2) improving the ability to manage psychological well-being during online learning. To achieve this goal, training methods with discussion and simulation techniques were used. The service activities were carried out for four meetings, namely on March 26-27 and September 17-18 2021. There were two main topics in this service activity, namely: (1) strategies to strengthen self-regulation as an effort to maintain psychological well-being; (2) foster students' interest in learning through socratic and storytelling methods. The results of the activity showed that 98% stated that they had gained new knowledge,  became more skilled at managing online learning, understood self-regulation management strategies and increased self-confidence as a teacher. Thus, this training activity has had a real impact in increasing the competence of partners.
