THE ROLE OF INTELLIGENCE IN GENERATION Z’S WORK READINESS

Abstract


The phenomenon of generation Z which is different from previous generations is still very interesting to research. Intelligence factors that can equip Generation Z work readiness need to be known for the sustainability of the organization in the future. The aim of this research is to find out the types of intelligence that influence the work readiness of generation Z. This research is important to carry out because it is very useful, especially for parents, educators and organizational managers to carry out the best interventions. Methods. The population in this study were students who were registered as active university students in Yogyakarta. The sample obtained was 117 respondents. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, with the criteria being that university students in Yogyakarta were at least in the
fourth semester. Finding. The research findings show that the adversity quotient, emotional quotient and spiritual quotient have a significant effect on the work readiness of generation Z students. Limitation. This research was only limited to a small number of students in Yogyakarta. Originality. This research has been carried out in accordance with research principles. However, more in-depth and extensive research is still needed in the future.
