Kuliner dalam Novel Resep Cherry Karya Primadona Angela

Abstract


This research aims to describe the culinary representation depicted in the novel Resep Cherry by Primadona Angela using a gastrocritical approach. This type of qualitative descriptive research refers to natural data in the form of words, phrases, and sentences in the novel. The data source for this research is the novel Cherry Recipe by Primadonna Angela. Data collection techniques were carried out using library study techniques. A literature study was carried out by recording data contained in documents in the form of novels. The research results prove that culinary representation is found through four gastrocritical concepts. In the novel, four culinary representations depict food and happiness through remembering and making food-related memories. Food and art appear through the characters' actions, constructing the unique taste, food presentation, and how to enjoy food. Food and names can be seen in how characters construct unique food names. Food and history appear through the characters' actions in constructing the role of food in a historical context.
