Klasifikasi Emosi David Krech pada Tokoh Saptapana dalam Novel Sewu Frasa Karya De Hana

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of finding out the types of emotions that exist in the character "Saptapana" in the novel Sewu Frasa by De Hana using literary psychology theory, namely the Classification of Emotions from David Krech's perspective. The classification of emotions coined by David Krech is the concept of guilt, pent-up guilt, self-punishment, shame, sadness, hatred and love (1974). The research method used is descriptive qualitative using a literature study approach and note-taking techniques. The results of this research: Of David Krech's seven classifications of emotions, there are 2 characters who have the concept of guilt, 1 character who has feelings of pent-up guilt, 1 character who has self-punishment emotion, 2 characters who have feelings of shame, 4 characters who have emotions of sadness, 4 characters who who has hatred, and 6 characters who have love. The characters in "Saptapana" who have the most emotions are the characters Sajakyata, Heru, and Nagarjuna, who each have 4 emotions, and the character who has the fewest emotions is the character Catra who only has 1 emotion
