Gambaran Komunikasi Interpersonal pada Remaja

Abstract


This research aims to reveal and analyze the picture of interpersonal communication in adolescents. Interpersonal communication plays an important role in the social and emotional development of adolescents, as well as in the formation of their self-identity. The qualitative research approach involved 2 teenagers aged 19-20 years from different backgrounds who were selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out by means of semi-structured interviews. Data analysis uses content analysis. The research results show that interpersonal communication in adolescents is influenced by factors such as cognitive development, relationships with peers, and the influence of social media. This research provides new insights that are relevant for educators, parents, and mental health professionals in understanding and supporting the development of healthy and effective interpersonal communication in adolescents.
