MENGUJI HUBUNGAN ANTARA PERCEIVED ENVIRONMENTAL UNCERTAINTY DAN ADAPTABILITY DENGAN JOB SATISFACTION

Abstract


This study was conducted with the aim of examining the relationship between perceived environmental uncertainty and adaptability with job satisfaction. The population in this study were employees at local government agencies in Central Halmahera Regency. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling technique. The number of samples in this study were 98 employees. The method of data collection is done by using the job satisfaction scale, perceived environmental uncertainty scale and adaptability scale. The analytical technique used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis with the help of a computer program SPSS version 16.0 for windows. The results of multiple linear regression analysis in this study show the value of R = 0.427 with a significance level of 0.000 (p <0.01) which means that there is a very significant relationship between perceived environmental uncertainty and adaptability with job satisfaction. In addition, there is a very significant negative relationship between perceived environmental uncertainty and job satisfaction with a value of (r)=-0.388 with a significance level of 0.000 (p<0.01).In the relationship between adaptability and job satisfaction, it was found that the value (r) = 0.083 with a significance level of 0.417 (p<0.01) which means that there is no relationship between adaptability and job satisfaction. Based on the data analysis that has been done, it can be concluded that there is a very significant relationship between perceived environmental uncertainty and adaptability with job satisfaction with an effective contribution of 31.8%.
