Abstract


Improving Student Learning Outcomes Through Demonstration Methods in Mathematics Subjects in Class VI
(Six) SDN Gunosari 2. This study aims to determine the improvement of mathematics learning outcomes through
demonstration methods. The subjects of this research were students of class VI SDN Gunosari 2. This research
method was a classroom action research which was carried out in three cycles. The factor studied was student
learning outcomes. Learning outcomes data were taken from test scores at the end of each cycle and from
observation sheets. This research was conducted in cycles and each cycle consisted of: planning, implementation,
observation, and reflection. Technical analysis of quantitative and quantitative data, namely by looking at the
results of the learning evaluation and the percentage of learning completeness from cycle I to cycle III. The
learning outcomes achieved in the first cycle were obtained from the top test score of 70 with classical
completeness of 8.69%. After applying the demonstration method in the second cycle, it was obtained from the
top test score of 85 with classical completeness of 60.86%. In the third cycle, it was obtained from the top test
score of 90 with classical completeness of 86.95%. Therefore, the results of this study accept and prove the truth
of the hypothesis set for the determination of the demonstration method to improve learning outcomes of basic
mathematics using prime factors to determine the KPK and FPB for grade VI students of SDN Gunosari 2
