UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MENGHUBUNGKAN BENTUK GEOMETRI DI KEHIDUPAN MELALUI MEDIA BENDA SEKITAR PADA ANAK KELOMPOK B DI TK AL HIDAYAH PURWOREJO
Abstract
objects. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects in this study were group B children
in Al Hidayah Kindergarten, Purworejo, Senduro District, Lumajang Regency. The data used to determine the
ability to connect geometric shapes in children's lives as well as to determine the learning process through the
media of surrounding objects is collected through observation and assignments or assignments. The data analysis
technique used descriptive qualitative and quantitative techniques with percentages. Furthermore, it is narrated
to draw conclusions about whether or not there is an increase in the ability to recognize numbers through the
media of number cards marked based on developing and undeveloped. The results showed that the ability to
connect geometric shapes in life through the media of objects around children in Cycle I reached 40%, in Cycle
II it reached 60% and in Cycle III it reached 80%. Based on the analysis, it can be seen that through the media
surrounding objects can improve the ability to connect geometric shapes in the lives of children at Al Hidayah
Kindergarten, Purworejo, Senduro District, Lumajang Regency.
