PENGGUNAAN APLIKASI OBROLAN SEBAGAI MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MAHASISWA DALAM MENULIS ARTIKEL

Abstract

The effort to improve writing skill for students through instructional media is a matter of urgency because the delivery of ideas through writing still becomes a problem for students. In digital era, the  lecturer as educators are required to adjust instructional media that is relevant to the world of learners. One of the instructional media is a chat application. This paper will reveal: a) the use of chat application as an interactive discussion between students and lecturers; b) improving students' writing skill with interactive teaching through chat application, and; c) student’s mastery in developing writing skill after getting interactive teaching. Furthermore, it will be known the result of interactive learning process which measured with the quality of student writing in the form of article.
