PENGGUNAAN MEDIA MAJALAH DINDING DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MENULIS BERITA SISWA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 2 KESU’ KABUPATEN TORAJA UTARA

Abstract

This study aims to describe the ability of students in writing news and effectiveness of the use of wall magazine media in learning to write news students of class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Kesu' Kabupaten Toraja Utara. This research is an experimental research conducted on control class and experiment class. The results showed the ability to write news class students who were taught by using the media wall magazine is higher than the ability of students who were taught by conventional learning media. These findings are supported by the acquisition of average grades of postes in the classroom taught by using wall magazine media included in the medium category, and classes taught by conventional learning media are included in the low category so that wall magazine media is effectively used in news writing.
