INTEGRATED WASTE AND MAGOT MANAGEMENT CENTER MURTIGADING. (BSF Maggot Empowerment for Organic Waste Management Facilities and Alternative Animal Feed)

Abstract


The waste problem in the Yogyakarta Region is still a serious problem that must be addressed immediately, this can be seen when the closure of the Piyungan TPS will have an impact on the accumulation of waste in the Yogyakarta Region. The purpose of this service is to provide solutions to waste problems with an integrated waste management model and maggot cultivation to overcome waste problems. Partners in this service are Murtigading Village, Sanden, Bantul. The solution to the waste problem above is to use an integrated waste management model by integrating units with one another for organic and inorganic waste management. The method used is training and making an integrated waste model in Murtigading Village in collaboration with (1). Murtigading Waste Bank, (2). Magot Murtigading Center, (3). Mutrigading Garbage Depot, (4) native chicken breeders and (5). Muhammadiyah Murtigading Branch with Waste Management and Management Training, BSF Maggot Animal Husbandry Training, and Management Training. This service will be held on 29 May – 2 June 2022 and 21 June 2022, the output of this PKM is the formation of the Maggot Center community, the Murtigading Village community. Increased waste management capacity and the establishment of an integrated waste management area model in the form of an integrated waste laboratory.
