Abstract

Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources RI that this green economy can also be interpreted as an economy that is low or does not produce carbon dioxide emissions to the environment, saves natural resources and is socially just. Optimizing the application of the green economy can be done through the smallest environment, such as households. Households in a circular economy play a very important role, including the implementation of a green economy. Green Economy or green economy is an economic idea that aims to improve the welfare and social equality of the community, while reducing the risk of environmental damage significantly. So far, the economic aspect is more dominant than the environmental aspect so that environmental sustainability is not maintained and produces negative effects/externalities that can harm residents in the surrounding environment. Environmental damage is a full concern for economists, giving rise to the concept of a green economy or better known as a green economy. Socialization and training on making composter is used as a solution in breaking down household waste in the Karangmoncol Women's Association.
