Pelatihan pembuatan soap bar pada PKK Kelurahan Sumberejo Kecamatan Tempel Kabupaten Sleman

Abstract

Cleanliness is the base of health. Health is important for humans, because with a healthy body we can carry out our daily activities to the maximum. An effort to maintain cleanliness is to take a shower using soap. Soap is one of the basic human needs. With soap, the skin will be protected from germs that can endanger human health. Soaps that circulate in the market in general contain with syntetic chemicals component that have unfavorable effects on the body. Public awareness of personal hygiene is not optimal and public knowledge about the use of various types of soap is not well understood and awareness of soap-making materials from artificial chemicals that have negative effects on the body is still low. Based on the above problems, the purpose of this counseling is to provide understanding to the community of the importance of personal hygiene and training in making soap bars (soap bars) from natural and environmentally friendly materials. The method used counseling and training in making soap and soap packaging so that the soap is ready to be marketed. The result is in the form of techniques for making bar soaps, bar soap products that are ready to use and soapbar that are ready to be marketed.
