Pemberdayaan masyarakat Sedangtirto dalam pembuatan pakan ikan mandiri melalui kegiatan KKN PPM

Abstract


Potential areas in Sendangtirto Village are animal husbandry and fisheries. The abundant stock of water and sufficient pool availability for fish cultivation. There are 9 active and registered groups of fish farmers in the village of Sendangtirto. However, there are obstacles faced by fish farmer’s groups, namely the cost of production for purchasing feed is also quite high, thereby reducing the results obtained by fish farmers. Meanwhile the ingredients for making fish feed are available. Community service through Community Service Program (KKN) is carried out involving 26 students and inviting experts. Empowerment activities undertaken include Independent fish food production, packaging, and marketing. Other supporting activities include screen printing training for packaging, photography training to support product cataloging. The positive impact of the implementation of this service is being able to increase revenue by an average of 41% by reducing the production costs of purchasing fish feed.
