Parents of students have difficulty dealing with psychological problems of their children because they do not have adequate understanding and skills about parenting. This service aims to improve the ability of parents to care for children, and be able to overcome obstacles and difficulties in caring so that it can help optimize students academically, emotionally and socially. The program chosen was group counseling targeting parents of students, which was carried out during three meetings with a follow-up plan. The results obtained are that parents gain a deeper understanding of how to care for and deal with children's problems, especially related to the use of gadgets and emotional management. Through group counseling, parents were able to apply care patterns when at home and have a support group to solve parenting problems in everyday life.
