Parenting Islami bagi orang tua kaum millenial di desa Guwosari Pajangan Bantul Yogyakarta

Abstract

The purpose of the training program is to provide education to millennial parents in the village of Guwosari, Pajangan, Bantul, Yogyakarta are: how to educate children who are good in Islam, and how parents have a strong motivation to have religious, character and integrity children. The method used in the training program: "Islamic Parenting for Millennial parents" in Guwosari Village is the "Cooperative Learning" method, with a lecture and question and answer approach to the training participants. The result of the training shows that: (1)parents (participants) are familiar with Islamic parenting material; (2) participants felt fortunate because they gained knowledge in educating children well based on Islamic values; (3) and parents have the awareness to educate, guide and care for their children to become children of good quality in terms of faith and to avoid immoral behavior . The impact of the training is that parents: (1) participants were motivated to teach their children by Islamic education; (2)participants were also encouraged to send their children to higher education ; (3) the parents' transformation, awareness arises in looking after and caring for the family (their children) from immoral behavior.
