SELF-REGULATED LEARNING CONCEPT: STUDENT LEARNING PROGRESS

Abstract


Perkembangan pembelajaran Indonesia merupakan hasil dari reformasi pendidikan. Hasil reformasi pendidikan memiliki pengaruh terhadap layanan pendidikan yang berkualitas. Pelayanan pendidikan yang berkualitas dilaksanakan oleh guru profesional. Artikel ini membahas mengenai pelayanan guru yang profesional untuk pengembangan self-regulated learning pada diri siswa. Tujuan pendidikan memiliki peran sentral dalam pengembangan akademik siswa melalui pengembangan strategi pembelajaran mandiri. Self-regulated learning adalah usaha aktif dan mandiri siswa dalam proses belajarnya dengan cara memantau, mengatur dan mengontol kognisi, motivasi, dan perilaku, yang diorientasikan atau diarahkan pada tujuan belajar. Fokus utama adalah pembentukan kemampuan untuk mengembangkan strategi belajar mandiri pada diri siswa. Dimensi self-regulated learning dapat mendorong siswa untuk mengembangkan  kemampuan mengatur diri dalam belajarnya secara optimal. Konselor sekolah dan guru kelas memiliki peran besar bagi pengembangan self-regulated learning melalui penataan lingkungan, penetapan tujuan, manajemen waktu, pencarian bantuan, strategi tugas, dan evaluasi diri. Kolaborasi antara konselor sekolah, guru mata pelajaran, dan pimpinan sekolah sebagai pengatur kebijakan sekolah sebagai pondasi untuk pembentukan lingkungan akademik melalui self-regulated learning pada diri siswa.
