Scientific developments, along with the various societal problems, create multidisciplinary studies. Ironically, the existence of courses in different scientific characteristics is still underestimated. Simultaneously, the interdisciplinary sciences included in categories of science that most suitable for dealing with all the complexities of global problems today. Besides being convenient, the multidisciplinary studies were able to reach almost all subjects of knowledge and technology. Specifically, an interdisciplinary approach can be applied as a solution in Indonesia for the challenge we face, including climate change, employment, creative economy, quality improvement for human resources, education, social media, and negotiation between institutions.
Along with the phenomenon that occurs globally, Indonesia needs innovation in educational patterns. As a university, Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD), with around 28.000 undergraduate students, must be a catalyst for a better life, not only now but also in the future. In this regard, the BIMAWA Universitas Ahmad Dahlan wants to pioneer an educational innovation through interdisciplinary collaboration and complement one another and develop multidisciplinary sciences in the Undergraduate Conference of Multidisciplinary Sciences as a solution to disseminate the idea from undergraduate students for the better future.
