STUDENTS’ PERCEPTION TOWARD DIFFICULTIES IN ENGLISH READING TEXT AT SMP NEGERI 1 BUNGKU
Abstract
In learning English there are four skills that need to be mastered by students, one of which is reading skills. The purpose of this study was to find out the perceptions of students of SMPN 1 Bungku on their difficulties in reading English, describe the factors of difficulty experienced by students in reading and find out what strategies they use to deal with difficulties related to English reading skills. This research is descriptive qualitative. Subjects in this study were 10 students who were selected randomly or using a random sampling technique. Data were collected through interviews and distributing questionnaires to students of SMP Negeri 1 Bungku. There are no findings in this study because this research has not been completed.
