Students at SMPN 4 Pangkalpinang in the post-pandemic Covid-19: An analysis of learning interest

Abstract


This study aims to determine student interest in learning after the COVID-19 pandemic at SMPN 4 Pangkalpinang. Using descriptive quantitative research methods. The sample population was 78 people from class 7F and 7G students with purposive sampling technique as many as 60 samples. Using a Likert Scale as a research instrument. Data were analyzed by qualitative descriptive technique. Based on the results of the descriptive analysis of the data obtained, it shows that students' interest in learning in the post-COVID-19 pandemic is in the high category, namely from a number of samples there are 55.00% of students, 33 people are in the high category. While students in the medium category were 23 people with a percentage of 38.33%. The remaining 4 people in the less category with a percentage of 6.67 and 0% in the low category. Then found the value of 76.88 as the average value of student interest in learning.
